  76. description of the package and its features, along with instructions for

  78. package, but it is in archived form, and is more easily read after
  79. installation.

  81. If you've ever wished you could keep track of baseball team standings,
  82. player statistics, and create a balanced league schedule then MicroFox's
  83. Baseball League Manager is the program for you.

  85. Baseball League Manager (BLM) is a shareware program. This evaluation
  86. version includes all features of the program, and is not crippled in any
  87. way. You may use it for up to 30 days, without charge (see BASEBALL.WRI
  88. for more details). If you like the program, and wish to continue its use
  89. after this evaluation period, you are required to pay for the program
  90. (see REGISTER.DOC for more details). Any fee you may have paid to others
  91. (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a fee
  92. for their copying and distribution services, rather than a payment for
  93. continued use of the program.

  109. The installation procedure for MicroFox's Baseball League Manager (BLM)
  110. is quite simple. The package includes a program, "SETUP.EXE", which
  111. automates the entire process.  You will need about one megabyte of
  112. available disk space on the hard drive on which you plan to install BLM.
  113.  
  114. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received BLM.
  115.

  117. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  118.  
  119. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  120.  
  121.    o  Place the BLM distribution diskette in the appropriate diskette
  122.       drive.
  123.  
  124.    o  Execute the "SETUP.EXE" program on the distribution diskette.
  125.       For example, from Windows 95 Control Panel choose "Add/Delete
  126.       Programs".
  127.  
  128.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program. You
  129.       will have a chance to approve installation before any changes are
  130.       actually made to the contents of your hard drive. The program will
  131.       ask you for a destination directory, and will copy the BLM files to
  132.       that directory. It will make no other changes; specifically, it
  133.       will not modify your autoexec.bat or config.sys files.

  136. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  137.  
  138. If you downloaded BLM from a BBS, the internet (or received it in the
  139. form of archive files from some other source), you will need to perform
  140. the following steps.

  142.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file in a temporary directory
  143.       on your hard drive. The procedure for doing this varies, depending
  144.       on the form in which you received the package. In all likelihood,
  145.       the fact that you are reading this text means that you already have
  146.       the necessary tools and knowledge to perform this step. If not, you
  147.       should be able to obtain directions for this from the same source
  148.       from which you received the package.

  150.    o  Execute the "SETUP.EXE" program which you have extracted.  For
  151.       example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
  152.       the BLM package is C:\TEMPDIR, you would execute the SETUP command

  175. evaluate BLM.  We hope you enjoy the program.
